Almost 41 years to the day, Life reveals incredible and shocking photos taken at the Lorraine Motel April 4th, 1968- documenting the scene of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's assassination. No explanation as to why they were not released before. I suppose why the were withheld is a valid question, but I wonder why he was killed? What did they imagine would happen if he continued? What would have been different if Dr. King lived?
